The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has lauded Pakistan for its steady progress in advancing civil nuclear technology, highlighting the country’s growing role in peaceful nuclear development.

In a message shared on social media, IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi praised Pakistan’s strong cooperation with the Agency following his meeting with Dr. Ali Raza Anwar, Chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), on the sidelines of the 69th IAEA General Conference in Vienna.

During the high-level talks, both sides reviewed ongoing collaborations and explored new avenues of partnership under various IAEA initiatives.

Dr. Anwar reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to strengthening ties with the IAEA and its member states, emphasizing the country’s resolve to promote peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
